New Crochet & Knitting Patterns + My “Little” Blanket Project!
Hey there, Reader,
You know how some folks say, “My eyes are bigger than my stomach” when they’ve piled on too much food on their plates? Well, I have a similar story to tell… but with yarn!
Last week, I thought it would be a good idea to start a great big granny square blanket project. In my mind, I could see it - a stunning, kaleidoscopic blanket for my daughter’s new big-girl bed. “A week tops,” I told myself, while lugging home a giant bag of yarn.
Well, it’s been seven days, and guess what? My crochet hook and I are still chipping away at square number nine. At this rate, I’ll be finished somewhere around… oh, let’s say December? 😅 But you know what? Even if my blanket progress is moving at a snail's pace, I’m still having fun. And isn’t that what crochet is all about?
